CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) _ Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc. (BW) on Tuesday reported a loss of $71.6 million in its fourth quarter.
The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of $1.47 per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.60 per share.
The power generation equipment company posted revenue of $380 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $115.6 million, or $2.31 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $1.58 billion.
Babcock & Wilcox expects full-year earnings in the range of 75 cents to 95 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $1.6 billion to $1.8 billion.
Babcock & Wilcox shares have declined 0.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $16.50, a fall of 16 percent in the last 12 months.
