The Buenos Aires, Argentina-based bank said it had earnings of $2.02 per share.
The financial holding company posted revenue of $591.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $478 million, surpassing Street forecasts.
Banco Macro shares have fallen 59 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 51 percent in the last 12 months.
