HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Bank of NT Butterfield & Son Ltd. (NTB) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $42.4 million.
The Hamilton, Bermuda-based bank said it had earnings of 79 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 91 cents per share.
The community bank posted revenue of $151.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $133 million, which missed Street forecasts.
Bank of NT Butterfield & Son shares have dropped roughly 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $30.79, a drop of 40% in the last 12 months.
