HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Bank of NT Butterfield & Son Ltd. (NTB) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $50.9 million.
The Hamilton, Bermuda-based bank said it had earnings of 92 cents per share.
The community bank posted revenue of $134.6 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $133.1 million, exceeding Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $195.2 million, or $3.50 per share. Revenue was reported as $511.7 million.
Bank of NT Butterfield & Son shares have increased 15 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $36.01, a fall of 19 percent in the last 12 months.
