Bella Thorne, ex Tana Mongeau feud on Twitter: 'She broke girl code I’m over it'
Looks like things between Bella Thorne and ex-girlfriend Tana Mongeau are rocky.
The actress, 21, took to Twitter Wednesday to say she is no longer "good" with the YouTube star. The pair were on good terms last month, when Thorne wished Mongeau a happy birthday days after she got engaged to someone else.
"She broke girl code I’m over it," Thorne tweeted Wednesday.
The tweet came after photos surfaced of Mongeau leaving a Hollywood restaurant with another one of Thorne's exes, rapper Mod Sun.
Mongeau, also 21, replied, writing, "????? imagine taking every time ur mad at me to twitter but then telling ppl how much u care about me..."
Thorne, retweeting Mongeau's reply, hit back with an accusation: "U legit started dating me for twitter.. how about u answer ur phone and talk to me instead of being on Twitter."
Thorne has nearly 7 million followers on the social media platform; Mongeau has just over 1.5 million.
"dude what are you doing bella?" Mongeau replied. "like i have no idea why you’re mad, i’ve been texting you every minute since you tweeted, and for you to be tweeting me something as hurtful as saying I dated you for Twitter is literally (expletive) nuts & if you honestly think that damn i lost you"
Mongeau's fiance, YouTuber Jake Paul, also weighed in on Thorne's comments.
"it’s fine we’re thriving," he wrote in response to Thorne's first tweet.
Thorne rose to fame on the Disney Channel series "Shake It Up." She's also known for her role in the films "Midnight Sun" and "The Duff."
She's made headlines last month for posting topless photos of herself to Twitter, saying it was to thwart a hacker, a move that Whoopi Goldberg criticized on "The View." Thorne rejected Goldberg's comments and some famous friends – including Zendaya, Lily-Rose Depp and Lucy Hale – helped back her up.
