Ben Affleck expected to spend Thanksgiving apart from girlfriend Lindsay Shookus
Ben Affleck is spending Thanksgiving with family -- and that doesn't appear to include his girlfriend.
The "Justice League" star and Jennifer Garner, whose rocky split made for some of the saddest celebrity breakup headlines of recent years, are putting their differences aside for the holiday, Affleck told Extra.
After being asked about his Thanksgiving plans, he responded with one simple word: "Family," he said.
Affleck continued, "We're all gonna have Thanksgiving together ... We'll go down an see Matt [Damon] and his family and have a nice time."
Damon and his wife, Luciana, have four daughters, while Affleck and Garner have two daughters and a son. The kids are all around the same ages, and the families have been close for years.
Conspicuously absent from Affleck's plans is Lindsay Shookus, his "SNL" producer girlfriend with whom he went public earlier this year. Details of their relationship, which allegedly began before either separated from their respective spouses, made for torrid tabloid stories this summer -- but things have largely settled in the months since.
Affleck and Shookus were spotted house hunting in October, so unless something major has changed, we'll be seeing more of the two together after Thanksgiving.
