This is the kind of thing to make Philadelphians forget about the Eagles Super Bowl win.

Ok. No. Just kidding. That’s absurd, of course.

But it is more reason for sports fans in the City of Brotherly Love to get excited. Just watch.

That’s the type of play that Sam Hinkie was surely dreaming of as he put together loser after historical loser to take the court at Wells Fargo arena.

I mean, look at that sweet crossover as Ben Simmons passed halfcourt. It’s all the Chicago Bulls defenders could pay attention to as three of them focused on the Sixers point guard. Meanwhile, they managed to forget all about Joel Embiid who was trotting unguarded to the bucket.

Simmons of course didn’t and hit Embiid in stride for the easy deuce while apparently locking eyes with someone in the stands.

Simmons ended up posting a line of 32 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds while Embiid tallied 30 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks and 3 steals in a 116-115 76ers win.

Whatever couch Hinkie’s sitting on, he’s surely smiling and thinking, “I told you so.”
