In a moment you probably should have seen coming: President Donald J. Trump, despite consistent warnings to do the opposite, stared directly at the solar eclipse.
If there is one thing everyone knows about Monday's solar eclipse, it is that staring at the eclipse without proper eyewear can cause permanent eye damage.
