MONTREAL , Nov. 28, 2017 /CNW/ - Manulife today announced the official opening of the new headquarters for its Quebec operations, Maison Manuvie, at 900 de Maisonneuve West in Montreal . The move to the new state-of-the-art building, announced in 2014, marks the beginning of a new period for Manulife in Quebec .

Manulife celebrated the opening of Maison Manuvie on November 27 in the company of esteemed guests and dignitaries including: Carlos Leitão, Minister of Finance of Quebec and Michael Sabia , President and CEO, Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec as well as Manulife executives including President and CEO Roy Gori .

Manulife entered into a co-venture agreement with Ivanhoe Cambridge to jointly develop Maison Manuvie. Manulife now occupies more than half of the office space in the 27-storey building. The AAA building is built to LEED CS Gold certification standards and is the first building in Quebec with a Wiredscore Platimum certification.
