The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has shared a bit of insight into her relationship with husband Karl Cook, revealing that they don't actually live together right now.

Although the pair got married over a year ago in July 2018, Kaley admitted to E! Online recently that she and Karl have an "unconventional marriage" at the moment, but added that they will eventually move in together.

"We're building our dream house," Kaley revealed. "We're eventually going to be under the same roof forever."

Speaking about their relationship – and the fact they're very open about it on their social media pages, including jokingly 'shaming' each other – Kaley added that it's what works for them, and she shared that she thinks it's important for couples to spend some time apart.

"We have a very unconventional marriage," she explained. "We have different locations that we're at a lot. We're not together every single day and I think, personally, it's important, it works well for us.

"If you want to Instagram shame each other, Instagram shame each other. It makes life really fun."

While Kaley's hit TV show The Big Bang Theory came to an end after 12 seasons earlier this year, the actress has been keeping busy in the months since, working on her new Harley Quinn DC animated series as well as landing her first live-action TV role post-Big Bang too.

And although Kaley said last month that she "hasn't really talked to anyone" from the cast since the show wrapped, she did manage to squeeze in a quick reunion with co-star Johnny Galecki last week.

The Big Bang Theory's final season aired on CBS and CBS All Access in the US. E4 airs the show in the UK.
