WINTER IS HERE, and so are spoilers. If you’re not caught up on Game of Thrones or are looking to stay totally in the dark before the penultimate episode of the seventh season, “Beyond the Wall”, turn back to The Wall because we’re going to get into it…now.

It’s time to admit to ourselves that at least one of the magnificent seven is not going to make it back from their death mission to catch a wight. Why do they need to capture a wight? Well, to prove to Cersei that the war for the Iron Throne needs to press pause because the army of the dead is COMING.

Based on the preview for “Beyond the Wall,” we’re going to be spending a lot of time with Jon and his ragtag group of misfits — aka Jorah Mormont, Gendry, Tormund, Thoros of Myr, Beric Dondarrion, and The Hound — as they realize just how in over their heads they are.

But before we get into that, let’s just remember their killer walkout:

Anyway, from what the preview shows, they’ll quickly realize they’re wildly outnumbered by the army of the dead even if the seven of them — not to mention the other wildlings and brothers from Brotherhood without Banners — are the more fearless warriors in Westeros (and beyond). But all is not lost for the squad as many fans believe Daenerys or her dragons will fly in and save them from certain death.

For the untrained eye, this could seem like a far-fetched theory by someone who wants Jonerys to happen really badly. BUT if you remember the second trailer for the season, which was released in June, there’s a moment where it seems like a massive fire is raging North of The Wall.

Sure, the fire could have been started by torches but we’re hopeful that Dany and her dragons will come through — especially after *that* moment with Jon. Plus, there’s always that horrible theory that one of Dany’s dragons becomes a dragon white walker (*sobs*), which can’t happen unless they come face to face with the White Walkers.

Just a few more days until we find out for sure who survives what looks like an epic battle.
