Big Telecom Italia shareholder welcomes investment from Sawiris, Bloomberg says

The second largest shareholder in Telecom Italia SpA (TI) would welcome an investment by the Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris in the company, saying it may create value and boost the stock price, reports Bloomberg. Marco Fossati, whose family’s Findim Group SA owns about 5% of Telecom Italia says: “Sawiris is an expert in the telecommunications industry with an incredible track record in creating shareholder value through both organic and creative M&A activities.”
