Billups Expands National Presence With Generation Outdoor Acquisition

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - February 17, 2015) - Billups, the nation's largest independent Out-of-Home (OOH) media specialist agency, today announced significant expansion plans with the acquisition of Generation Outdoor.

Recently named to Forbes' list of America's Most Promising Companies, Billups' acquisition of Generation Outdoor will build upon its growing nationwide portfolio. The acquisition will also significantly boost their growing national influence in New York. As a premier player in the outdoor buying industry, Generation Outdoor is best known for its iconic brands and memorable programs that have been placed in marquee locations from Times Square to the Sunset Strip.

As part of the acquisition, Generation Outdoor CEO Matt Leible and staff will join the Billups team. Leible, a second-generation outdoor advertising executive, was the recipient of the Ad Age 2004 Media Maven award and was featured on the cover of Ad Age in 2001 as an up-and-comer in the advertising industry.
