Kodak Chairman and CEO Antonio Perez, who led the company through its Chapter 11 restructuring, plans to step down within the next year, but remain with the company as an adviser. Here are some biographic details on Perez:

NAME: Antonio Perez

OCCUPATION: Chairman and CEO, Eastman Kodak Co., which is headquartered in Rochester, N.Y.

EDUCATION: Studied electronic engineering, marketing and business in Spain and France. Received an honorary doctorate from the University of Rochester in 2009.

CAREER: Before joining Kodak, Perez worked for Hewlett-Packard Co. for 25 years, holding a variety of leadership positions, including corporate vice president and president of the company's consumer business. Perez was named Kodak's president and chief operating officer in 2003 and became CEO in 2005.
