The Irvine, California-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 5 cents per share.
The maker of dental laser systems posted revenue of $13.8 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $15.4 million, or 29 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $51.8 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.37. A year ago, they were trading at 94 cents.
