MALVERN, Pa. (AP) _ BioTelemetry Inc. (BEAT) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $40.4 million.
The Malvern, Pennsylvania-based company said it had profit of $1.30 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 23 cents per share.
The heart monitoring device maker posted revenue of $54 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $53.4 million, or $1.75 per share. Revenue was reported as $208.3 million.
BioTelemetry shares have risen 12 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $24.95, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
