RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) _ Black Hills Corp. (BKH) on Monday reported third-quarter earnings of $17 million.
The Rapid City, South Dakota-based company said it had net income of 31 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax expenses and to account for discontinued operations, were 42 cents per share.
The energy company posted revenue of $322 million in the period.
Black Hills expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.35 to $3.50 per share.
Black Hills shares have risen roughly 3 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $61.85, a rise of 1 percent in the last 12 months.
