It will also be expanding this year to include additional hall space at the convention center, while adding BlizzCon Pregame Festivities for players to get together outside of the convention center the day before the show begins.

New this year for attendees is the BlizzCon Portal Pass, a separate ticket option that allows access to the Darkmoon Faire during the new “Night at the Faire” event on the eve of BlizzCon. It will also offer the option to be one of the first attendees to enter the show floor on Friday and Saturday as well as separate registration and security lines, a special lounge for pass holders, and preferred parking.

The regular BlizzCon Pass will also be available for those seeking general admission tickets, which will also allow access to the new BlizzCon Pregame Festivities. Attendees can also opt to go to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner, with net proceeds going to benefit CHOC Children’s.

All three ticket types, as previously mentioned, will be available in two rounds, except for the Benefit Dinner. The first sale will be taking place Saturday, May 4 and the second on Wednesday, May 8. All three purchase options come with in-game items that will be announced at a later date as well as a choice of a special BlizzCon Commemorative Collectible statue in either the form of a Human Footman or Orc Grunt inc celebration of Warcraft’s 25th anniversary. This will replace the Goody Bag from previous BlizzCon shows.

“BlizzCon has served as a home away from home for the Blizzard community, a place where online friends can meet up in real life and new friendships are formed,” said Blizzard Entertainment president J. Allen Brack. “We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the show this year, reconnecting, celebrating, and sharing some of our latest developments.”

Tickets for BlizzCon 2019 will go on sale in two waves beginning Saturday, May 4 and continuing Wednesday, May 8.
