MACON, Ga. (AP) _ Blue Bird Corp. (BLBD) on Thursday reported a loss of $639,000 in its fiscal second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Macon, Georgia-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 10 cents per share.
The school bus maker posted revenue of $255.4 million in the period.
Blue Bird shares have dropped 51% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $11.29, a decrease of 39% in the last 12 months.
