PEMBROKE, Bermuda (AP) _ Blue Capital Reinsurance Holdings Ltd. (BCRH) on Wednesday reported a loss of $24.9 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Pembroke, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of $2.84.
The reinsurance company posted revenue of $12.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $28.6 million, or $3.27 per share. Revenue was reported as $35.4 million.
Blue Capital shares have increased 19 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.55, a decline of 47 percent in the last 12 months.
