Blue Duck Looks to Continued Growth in 2021 as Demand for Micromobility Increases in Small- and Mid-Sized Cities

Partnership with Wunder Mobility provides full-service technology support, enabling Blue Duck to focus on first-rate service and operations in cities with few mobility alternatives

Blue Duck, a San Antonio-based micromobility company, has started 2021 at full speed, strengthening relationships with a growing number of customers and partners as demand continues to rise in smaller metropolitan areas for affordable, eco-friendly micromobility services.

Blue Duck provides electric scooters and e-bikes in cities throughout Texas and the southeastern U.S. with a distinctive "Southern style" approach built on collaborative partnerships with residents, businesses and municipal leaders. Rather than flooding large population centers with vehicles in pursuit of rapid growth, Blue Duck develops 1-on-1 relationships with stakeholders in small- to mid-size cities and college towns, carefully integrating its service into communities. This includes working together to designate specific operation areas and craft rules concerning curfews, parking policies, and more.

That cooperative approach continues to pay dividends, as the three-year-old company has become the exclusive or primary micromobility provider in a growing number of locations, most recently including Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Vicksburg, Mississippi (where Blue Duck was the first micromobility provider in the state); and Waco, Texas, among many others.
