On a per-share basis, the Boca Raton, Florida-based company said it had net income of 27 cents.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 23 cents per share.
The timeshare developer and operator posted revenue of $173.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $88 million, or $1.18 per share. Revenue was reported as $738.3 million.
Bluegreen Vacations shares have climbed 7 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 26 percent in the last 12 months.
