BlueStar HonorCare partners with National Military Family Association in support of veteran families

ROCKVILLE, Md., Jan. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- BlueStar HonorCare, the only veteran-owned-and-operated aging-in-place technology company in the marketplace, announced that is has partnered with the National Military Family Association, a private, nonprofit military family association whose mission is to improve the quality of life for all military personnel. BlueStar has committed to a yearlong partnership with NMFA, pledging to donate a portion of every dollar of revenue to the organization.

"In many ways, NMFA's mission parallels BlueStar's mission to serve veterans and their spouses as they age," said BlueStar HonorCare's Chief Executive Officer Rear Admiral Robert O. Wray, Jr. (ret.). "Our mission is uniquely simpatico with NMFA; we are a perfect match," Wray said.

Every portion of BlueStar HonorCare's charitable donation to NMFA will be spent exclusively on our nation's veterans. BlueStar's contribution represents its sincere appreciation for NMFA, especially in that the association has been giving back to military families since military wives founded it in 1969.

"We are delighted to have the support of BlueStar HonorCare," said NMFA Executive Director Joyce Wessel Reazer. "BlueStar and NMFA share the similar mission of serving and supporting the men and women and their families who wear our nation's uniform both at home and abroad," said Raezer.

Admiral Wray went on to say, "I cannot say enough good words about the important and critical work that NMFA does day-in and day-out. Veterans like myself (and countless others) profoundly appreciate how NMFA works to support members of our military and their families. We are excited about our partnership and look forward to our continued relationship."
