Boise Cascade Company (BCC) announced it will open a new distribution center in the Kansas City metro area. The facility, located in Lee`s Summit, Missouri, will focus principally on serving customers within a 150-mile radius of Kansas City. The ten-acre site is located near interstate 470 and is served by the Union Pacific railroad. The distribution facility is expected to be fully operational by late third quarter.
