Denver, Colorado, November 15, 2013 - Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc. (BCEI) (the "Company") today announced the closing of its previously announced pricing of an additional $200 million aggregate principal amount of its 6.75% Senior Notes due 2021 (the "Additional Notes"). The Company originally offered and sold $300 million aggregate principal amount of initial notes of the same series on April 9, 2013.
The Additional Notes have identical terms, other than the issue date, as the initial notes. The Additional Notes constitute part of the same series as the initial notes and will trade with the initial notes as a single class. Like the initial notes, the Additional Notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by all of the Company`s existing and future subsidiaries that incur or guarantee certain indebtedness. The Company intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering to repay all of the outstanding borrowings under its revolving credit facility and will use the remainder for general corporate purposes, which may include funding its drilling and development program and other capital expenditures.
