BOSTON (AP) _ Boston Beer Co. (SAM) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $27.9 million.
On a per-share basis, the Boston-based company said it had profit of $2.36. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, were $2.34 per share.
The brewer posted revenue of $318.4 million in the period.
Boston Beer expects full-year earnings to be $8.30 to $9.30 per share.
Boston Beer shares have risen 60% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $386.38, an increase of 18% in the last 12 months.
