LAS VEGAS (AP) _ Boyd Gaming Corp. (BYD) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $22.9 million.
The Las Vegas-based company said it had profit of 20 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 32 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 32 cents per share.
The casino operator posted revenue of $791.6 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $775.8 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $115 million, or $1 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.63 billion.
Boyd shares have climbed 36 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $28.26, a decline of 19 percent in the last 12 months.
