Brad Pitt Plays Weatherman While Mocking Trump’s Paris Accord Withdrawal

Brad Pitt has a new job … as a weatherman. Well, sort of. Earlier this week, he appeared on the premiere of The Jim Jefferies Show to discuss how President Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate agreement would affect the world.

“The world is still grappling with Trump withdrawing from the Paris accord and we wanted to address it one more time before we say goodnight,” Jefferies said on Tuesday’s show. “To help us understand climate change and what it means to the world, here’s our own Jim Jefferies Show weatherman.”

At that point, Pitt took over. “Thank you, Jim. So things are going to be getting warmer in this area here,” said the actor while pointing to a red-and-orange map covered with bright yellow suns, “and this area here,” he added, gesturing to the other side.

Hmmm… maybe Pitt should stick to his day job. While he’s not a natural at doing the weather, we do love his retro Anchorman ensemble. The 53-year-old actor is an outspoken environmentalist and helped rebuild New Orleans’s Ninth Ward, making it into one of the greenest neighborhoods in the country.

When Jefferies asked if he had any future forecasts, Pitt replied, “There is no future.”

Pitt’s been cutting loose and acting goofy on the late-night circuit. Just last month, he appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert asking life’s biggest questions.
