‘A Very Brady Renovation: Holiday Edition’ Is Coming to HGTV (Complete with Ree Drummond)

First, HGTV served up a healthy dose of Brady nostalgia with A Very Brady Renovation. And now, the network is revamping the iconic Brady Bunch home (again) just in time for the holidays.

HGTV is reuniting the cast of The Brady Bunch for an all-new special edition of the home renovation TV show. Unlike the first batch of episodes, which featured Property Brothers stars Drew and Jonathan Scott, A Very Brady Renovation: Holiday Edition will be led by Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman) and Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential).

The pair will team up with all six of the Brady siblings: Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy).

During the episode, the group will prepare a holiday feast in the recently remodeled kitchen. They’ll complete DIY projects and decorate the house for the holidays before sitting down to enjoy their meal.

“We have remarkable star experts across every area of lifestyle content, so of course we’re inviting Food Network star Ree Drummond to HGTV’s Brady holiday episode,” Jane Latman, the president of HGTV, said in a statement. “Along with Jasmine Roth and the Brady siblings, we’ve assembled a dream team to create the ultimate holiday programming event.”

HGTV purchased the home after a bidding war with Lance Bass in August 2018 and decided to take the opportunity to transform and modernize it, while still maintaining aspects of its original form (like that good old astroturf lawn). They even crowdsourced to find props identical to the ones in the show, which ran from 1969 to 1974.

A Very Brady Renovation: Holiday Edition will premiere on Monday, December 16, at 10 p.m. on HGTV.
