Braves complete two wins over Phillies, Tatis homers again

The Atlanta Braves completed two wins over the Philadelphia Phillies in MLB, while Fernando Tatis Jr. continued his incredible form.

The Braves improved to 11-6 thanks to 5-2 and 8-0 victories over the Phillies on Sunday.

Ronald Acuna Jr. starred in the 8-0 win, going four-for-four with two home runs and three RBIs.

The Braves are second in the National League (NL) East, behind the Miami Marlins (7-3).

Tatis' stunning form for the San Diego Padres continued in a 9-5 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The 21-year-old blasted his equal-high eighth home run of the season.

 

DeGrom gets the job done as Moreland lifts Red Sox

Jacob deGrom battled a blister but got through five innings, giving up two runs and striking out six in the New York Mets' 4-2 success over the Marlins.

Mitch Moreland delivered for the Boston Red Sox. He hit a two-run walk-off homer in a 5-3 win against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Lance Lynn struck out six and conceded just two runs in five innings as the Texas Rangers beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-3.

 

Bad Bumgarner battling back injury

Madison Bumgarner conceded four home runs in two innings as the Diamondbacks fell to the Padres. Now 0-3 this season, he is reportedly battling a back injury.

 

Benches clear between A's and Astros

The benches cleared during the Oakland Athletics' 7-2 win against the Houston Astros after Ramon Laureano was hit by a pitch for the second time in the game.
