Brazil creates record 394,989 formal jobs in October - economy ministry

BRASILIA, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Brazil's economy added a net 394,989 formal jobs in October, economy ministry figures showed on Thursday, the fourth month in a row of job gains, a new monthly record, and far more than the 233,500 forecast in a Reuters poll of economists.

It reduces the net number of formal job losses in the first 10 months of the year to 171,139, the figures showed. (Reporting by Jamie McGeever; Editing by Toby Chopra)
