Brazil's Eletrobras stake could be worth $3.8 billion, source says

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - The stake that Brazil's federal government and state entities hold in power holding company Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras SA could be worth 12 billion reais ($3.8 billion) or more, a government official said on Monday.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the issue freely. Brazil's Mines and Energy Ministry plans to propose President Michel Temer's administration to sell control of the utility known as Eletrobras.
