Brazil's Vale produces 84.5 mln tonnes of iron ore in 4th quarter

RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Brazilian iron ore miner Vale SA produced 84.508 million tonnes of iron ore in the fourth quarter, the company said in a Wednesday filing.

The production represented a 7.9% increase from the same period last year and a 4.7% decrease from the third quarter.
