RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ Brink's Co. (BCO) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $52.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Richmond, Virginia-based company said it had a loss of $1.02 per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax expenses and non-recurring costs, were 95 cents per share.
The armored car company posted revenue of $903.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $864.3 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $16.7 million, or 33 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.19 billion.
Brink's expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.65 to $3.85 per share, with revenue expected to be $3.45 billion.
Brink's shares have risen slightly more than 3 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 84 percent in the last 12 months.
