British police say they are aware of an incident at London police station
LONDON, Nov 11 (Reuters) - British police said on Wednesday they are aware of an incident at a north London police station.
Footage on social media showed police cordoning off an area outside the station.
"A major incident has been declared at Edmonton Green police station," said Kate Osamor, the local member of parliament. "Please stay safe if you're in the area."
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police was not immediately able to comment.
