In very noice news, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sixth season has finally landed a release date on Netflix UK.

So for those UK fans who missed the latest season of the Fox-turned-NBC series when it aired last year – or just fancy a rewatch or 10 – it will be with us on Netflix in exactly two months.

The streaming giant's official UK Twitter confirmed that season six will drop on March 28 after fans' endless pestering.

Revealing the date, they joked: "You, for the last year: OK BUT WHAT ABOUT B99 s6?! Us, finally: March 28."

Of course, one fan asked the obvious follow-up question of when season seven will drop, Netflix replying: "Don't."

No harm in trying, eh?

The show's sixth season aired on E4 early in 2019, though was only available for a limited time, so the Netflix news will come as a relief to many (plus, no adverts, which is a bonus).

Meanwhile, fans were recently given a treat when it was announced that the show had been renewed for an eighth season, which comes ahead of the seventh season's premiere next month.

Teasing what we can expect from the next batch of episodes, co-producer Dan Goor told Digital Spy: "I think we're gonna bring back a lot of our favourites, who I think are also fan favourites.

"We're hoping to have a Pimento episode, we're hoping to have a Pontiac Bandit episode obviously [and] hoping to have Marc Evan Jackson.

"And then we're also hoping to do a few episodes that break the form in the way we did last season because that's interesting for us and challenging."

Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs on NBC in the US and E4 in the UK. Seasons 1-5 are also streaming on Netflix in the UK.
