BRYN MAWR, Pa. (AP) _ Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. (BMTC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $17.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania-based bank said it had earnings of 84 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $65.6 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $56.1 million, which topped Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $63.8 million, or $3.13 per share. Revenue was reported as $225.5 million.
Bryn Mawr Bank shares have risen slightly more than 9 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $37.62, a fall of 19 percent in the last 12 months.
