ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (BBW) on Wednesday reported a loss of $10.4 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.
The St. Louis-based company said it had a loss of 72 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, came to 5 cents per share.
The toy retailer posted revenue of $101.5 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $17.9 million, or $1.23 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $336.6 million.
Build-A-Bear shares have risen 49 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 33 percent in the last 12 months.
