The recently remodeled Logan's Roadhouse restaurant at 3126 S. Clack St. will celebrate its reopening Monday with a ribbon-cutting by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce at 10:45 a.m., with promotions and entertainment continuing through the day, according to a Wednesday news release.

The first 100 guests in line to the restaurant at 11 a.m. will be eligible to receive free food from the restaurant for a year, and as part of a partnership with Toys for Tots, guests who bring a toy for donation will receive a dozen free rolls.

Both the Hardin-Simmons University Cowboy Band and the school's cheerleaders will perform, and KBCY 99.7 will conduct a live radio remote through 3 p.m.

The restaurant was initially shuttered in 2020 due to the pandemic, but during its closure improvements were made the exterior and the interior was remodeled to match the company's new design motif, the company said in a previous news release.
