Bystanders rush to rescue woman who fell onto subway tracks
ABC News showed a terrifying clip on Thursday caught by a surveillance camera in a subway station in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It's every commuter's worst nightmare: A man fainted on the subway platform, knocking an unsuspecting woman onto the nearby subway tracks.
Bystanders are seen instantly panicking as the train emerges from around the corner, while the woman remains motionless. The crowd waved their arms frantically, trying to get the conductor's attention — who was able to stop the train at the last minute.
People jumped onto the tracks to help the woman, while others tended to the man who had fainted.
The incident occurred on Tuesday and the fallen woman's husband confirmed to reporters in Argentina that his wife was in stable condition and recovering from the incident.
