BOSTON (AP) _ Cabot Corp. (CBT) on Monday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $32 million.
The Boston-based company said it had net income of 55 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1 per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of $1 per share.
The chemical company posted revenue of $845 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $864.6 million.
Cabot shares have declined roughly 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $39.56, a fall of 41% in the last 12 months.
