California agency votes to extend the lives of four gas plants
Sept 1 (Reuters) - California's State Water Resources Control Board on Tuesday voted to extend the lives of four coastal gas-fired power plants.
The unanimous vote follows a state analysis last year that identified a potential electricity capacity shortfall beginning in the summer of 2021. (Reporting by Nichola Groom; Editing by Sandra Maler)
