This California Brewery Is Offering Beer Deliveries By Dogs That Are Up For Adoption

From Delish

For National Dog Day on August 26, the California-based Golden Road Brewing is delivering its new Hazy Pup IPA beer directly to people’s doors along with adoptable dogs from the dog rescue Wags & Walks. Beer-to-door service and the potential to fall in love with a new furry best friend? Count me in.

From August 27 to August 29 between 12-4 p.m., people who order the brewery’s Hazy Pup IPA in select areas of Los Angeles can get it delivered and enjoy some doggy playtime. For $50, you’ll get two six-packs of Hazy Pup, a discount for a future Golden Road Brewing purchase, some goodies–think stickers and a koozie–and 20 minutes of blissful playtime with two to three puppies and/or dogs. All of the proceeds go to Wags & Walks.

You can book a slot starting tomorrow, and they’ll be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The day you can choose depends on what neighborhood you live in–the East Side, Mid City, or The Valley. You can find the full list of participating neighborhoods here. Once available, you can book a delivery here. If you’re not interested in a delivery, you can schedule your order for pick-up on August 26 at the Wags & Walks in L.A.

TBH, this should be an event that happens all over the world for National Dog Day. But for now, enjoying a beer and playing with a few dogs is the therapeutic scenario we all need.
