SASKATOON, Saskatchewan (AP) _ Cameco Corp. (CCJ) on Friday reported third-quarter net income of $21.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based company said it had net income of 5 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 3 cents per share.
The uranium producer posted revenue of $373.4 million in the period.
Cameco shares have risen 20 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 32 percent in the last 12 months.
