Aug 30 (Reuters) - U.S. food company Campbell Soup Co said on Friday quarterly sales rose 2%, helped by demand for its soups and snacks.
Sales from continuing operations were up at $1.78 billion for the fourth quarter ended July 28, from $1.75 billion a year earlier.
The company reported a net loss attributable to shareholders of $8 million, or 3 cents per share, from a profit of $94 million, or 31 cents per share. (Reporting by Nivedita Balu in Bengaluru; Editing by Shinjini Ganguli)
