CANADA STOCKS-TSX futures edge lower ahead of U.S. jobs report

Stock futures pointed to a lower opening for Canada's main stock index on Friday ahead of a key U.S. payrolls report, which will shed light on the health of the world's largest economy.

December futures on the S&P/TSX index were down 0.24% at 7:00 a.m. ET.

Canada's trade data is due at 8:30 a.m. ET

The Toronto Stock Exchange's TSX rose 0.36 percent to 16,369.03 on Thursday.

Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were down 0.36% at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were down 0.41% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were down 0.36%.
