SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 3, 2014) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the elevation and promotion of a quality candidate experience, today announced the members of the panel of independent judges who will review the winners of the 2014 North American Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards and determine those stories worthy of the program's "With Distinction" honor. The judges include: Jeanne Achille, founder and CEO of The Devon Group; Anna Brekka, director of Operations and marketing manager, RecruitingBlogs.com; Lance Haun, editor at The Starr Conspiracy; Jennifer McClure, president, Unbridled Talent LLC; and John Vlastelica, managing director, Recruiting Toolbox, Inc.
Through its annual CandE Awards, Talent Board benchmarks and recognizes organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. This program consists of two survey rounds that first capture and evaluate employers' recruitment process and practices throughout the entire life cycle, and then analyze their candidates' responses about their experience. Organizations that complete at least the first round submission will receive access to complimentary candidate experience Employer Benchmarking data. Companies that meet the criteria for rounds one and two, exceeding the standard set for a positive experience, will be designated a "2014 CandE Award Winner." A third round of the program asks employers to describe their practices, challenges and business relevance to treating candidates well. The judges' panel will evaluate these employer responses for areas of innovation, interest and learning and select this year's "With Distinction" CandE Award winners.
Winners of the 2014 CandE Awards will be announced and celebrated at the Fourth Annual Candidate Experience Awards Reception, which will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. In addition to the reception, Talent Board will host its inaugural Candidate Experience Symposium, uniting the foremost industry experts in candidate experience to gather and discuss best practices to improve the recruiting function and candidate experience. The Symposium will be held Friday, September 19, 2014, also at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago.
