CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - March 08, 2017) - Canexus Corporation (CUS.TO) ("Canexus" or the "Corporation") announced today that the Canadian Competition Bureau issued a no-action letter under the Competition Act (Canada) in respect of the proposed acquisition of Canexus (the "Transaction") by an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund. Canexus previously received approvals for the Transaction from its shareholders and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta and the condition relating to regulatory approvals has now been satisfied. Subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, Canexus anticipates completing the Transaction on March 10, 2017.
