Capital Concerts Celebrates Wins At The 2019 New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards For PBS' Top Rated NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT And A CAPITOL FOURTH

WASHINGTON, April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Two world-renowned television programs produced for PBS, the NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT and A CAPITOL FOURTH , both won Silver World Medals at this year's New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards honoring the  World' s   Best TV & Films .  Both programs were produced by Capital Concerts, inc. with Michael Colbert serving as Executive Producer. 

Two world-renowned television programs produced for PBS, the NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT and A CAPITOL FOURTH, both won Silver World Medals at this year’s New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards honoring the World’s Best TV & Films℠. The concerts are broadcast live annually from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.

The award ceremony, which was held on Tuesday, April 9th, at the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas, honors content in all lengths and forms from over 50 countries. Embracing all aspects of the Television and Film industries, categories mirror today's global trends and encourage the next generation of story-tellers and talent: Animation, Comedy, Corporate Image, Digital Short-Form, Drama, Documentary, Esports, Feature Films, News, Promos, Reality TV Drama, Sports, Telenovelas, Best Performance by an Actor/Actress, Special Event, Innovation, Technical Production Team, CSR, Best Screenplay, Video Art, Best Host and Use of Technology.
