Capital One Financial reports $1.05 billion quarterly loss

Jan 23 (Reuters) - U.S. credit card issuer Capital One Financial Corp reported a fourth-quarter loss of $1.05 billion on a provision for income taxes.

The company swung to a loss of $1.05 billion, or $2.17 per share from a profit of $710 million, or $1.45 per share, a year earlier.
